Taking a Relative Measurement (Zeroing) with the T1 Tomahawk

The T1 Tomahawk can zero, or begin measuring, from any point along the tape measure in relative measuring mode.  Once selected, the "count" on the T1 will go to zero.

  • Moving the tape forward will show a positive (+), relative measurement, from the point of which it was zeroed.
  • Moving the tape backward will show a negative (-), relative measurement, from the point of which it was zeroed.

1) Select the Menu button to enter the Quick Action Menu

  • To exit TOGGLE REL mode, repeat procedure in reverse with representative option highlighted - screen will return to normal appearance (without flashing frame) if properly cleared
  • Selecting the "EXIT" option exits the Quick Menu without modifying selection
  • Selecting "CLEAR ALL" removes all active menu options

  • Two Questions…
    1. I understand how to use the “Relative” measuring function. How do you do repeated relative measurements. It seems that you have to turn off the function then turn it back on which is 4 clicks…

    2. The pencil holder… I didn’t receive one. Is that an additional purchase?

  • Hello!

    1. Yes right now it needs to be exited to reset the relative value and set a new one

    2. It will be available as a separate accessory later this year
