Firmware Upgrading Issues

If you are having trouble upgrading your T1 Tomahawk Tool, the below steps can be used to help ensure you have the latest firmware on your T1 Tomahawk.  On certain occasions, it may take more than one attempt at upgrading the T1 Tomahawk to correctly install the firmware.

  • Ensure you have the latest app version installed on your phone.  Check the App Store on iOS or the Play Store on Android to ensure no updates are available
  • Restart your phone to clear the cache
  • Remove and replace battery in T1 Tomahawk
  • Ensure phone and T1 are next to one another
  • Do not switch applications or touch the phone or T1 during the upgrade process
  • Do not press any buttons on the T1 Tomahawk until the Blade Setup screen appears

  • Can you do a firmware update without using the app? My phone is too old to connect to the T1 using Bluetooth.
