[P1L] Can't Connect to ROCK App

Experiencing issues connecting your P1L Tagger label printer to BOLDR Pro? This guide provides step-by-step instructions to help you troubleshoot and resolve common connection problems.

Basic Connection Checklist

  1. Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device and that Bluetooth permissions are granted for the BOLDR Pro app in your device settings. 
  2. Confirm the P1L Tagger is powered on.
  3. Open BOLDR Pro and tap Tools in the bottom navigation bar, then select Add Device.
  4. The Discover nearby devices section will automatically scan for available devices. When the P1L appears (shown as P1L with its serial number), tap the + icon on the device card to connect.
  5. Once connected, the P1L will move to the My Devices section at the top of the screen.

If the P1L Does Not Appear

  • Tap the Refresh button at the bottom of the Add Device screen to rescan.
  • Move your device closer to the P1L to make sure it is within Bluetooth range.
  • Toggle Bluetooth off and on in your device settings, then return to the Add Device screen.
  • If the P1L was previously connected to another device or app, disconnect or forget it from that device first.
  • Restart the P1L by turning it off and back on, then try again.

  • Great ideas by these guys but severely poor execution in actually making these things functionally dependable. even after following their set up and trouble shooting directions, their bluetooth app is not discoverable as a device, nor does not connect to my iphone. I had this same problem with their tomahawk tape measure. Sucks as it wasted my $400 collectively
