[T1] Creating Measurement Offsets

The Offset feature lets you apply custom measurement adjustments. This is useful when compensating for specific conditions or device positioning. 

NOTE This is an advanced features and should only be used when firm understanding is had on its outcome as changing this value will affect all displayed measurements.

  • Navigate to the Main Menu and scroll down to "Offset" to enter
  • You can select if the offset should be made in inches or millimeters
  • Offsets can be created for the front or back of the T1. 
  • A custom offset can also be set for when the T1 is in C1 Mode
  • If necessary, reset offsets back to factory settings.

  • I don’t understand why firmware updates come out and instructions are provided for some new feature and then I don’t even have that menu item on my tool. I have no “Offset” on my main menu. Any explanation would be greatly appreciated.

  • I’m on firmware version 1.0.6 and I do have a Change Offsets option in my menu. It comes right after Beeper Sound.
