[T1M] Taking a Relative Measurement (Zeroing)

The T1M Utility can zero, or begin measuring, from any point along the tape measure in relative measuring mode.  Once selected, the "count" on the T1M will go to zero.

  • Moving the tape forward will show a positive (+), relative measurement, from the point at which it was zeroed.
  • Moving the tape backward will show a negative (-), relative measurement, from the point at which it was zeroed.

To Enter Relative Measuring Mode:

  1. Select the Quick Action Menu Button
  2. Scroll to REL
  3. Press the Quick Action Menu Button again to confirm the selection
  4. The OLED screen now displays both the relative measurement bar to the left, as well as the relative measurement that the T1M is measuring

To exit Relative mode, repeat the same procedure to enter the mode. The display should no longer show the relative measurement bar, and the measurement readout should align with the tape blade
