The T1M Utility Tape Measure includes a built-in, metal-reinforced Marking Square designed to enhance your marking, scribing, and alignment tasks. This versatile accessory stores neatly within the T1M and can be easily attached in different positions to extend the front alignment surface for precision work.
Steps to Use the Marking Square:
- Remove the Marking Square
- Locate the tab at the bottom of the T1M.
- Press the tab and slide the Marking Square out from its storage slot.
- Attach the Marking Square
- Choose your desired orientation for the Marking Square.
- Align the Marking Square with the groove at the front of the T1M.
- Press firmly into the groove until you feel it lock securely into place.
- Take Measurements and Mark
- Once attached, flip the T1M over to expose the Marking Square.
- Take your measurements as usual and use the square to scribe and mark clean, straight lines with precision.
