[T1M] Reader Module Replacement

When directed by our customer support team, a reader module replacement may be required. Please carefully review the steps below before completing the swap, and reach out if you have any questions.

Removing the Reader Module:

1. Power off the T1M by navigating to the main menu.
2. Remove the reference guide from under the T1M (optional, but helpful to reduce obstruction when removing/reinserting the reader module).
3. Use a PH1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws on the front sides of the device.
4. Hold both sides of the reader module and slide it out through the mouth of the T1M.
5. Remove the auto-lock latch from the assembly.
6. Carefully slide the blade around the reader module connector to disconnect it.

Installing the New Reader Module:

1. Slide the blade through the side of the new reader module.
2. Confirm all components, including the auto-lock latch, are correctly assembled.
3. Reinsert the reader module into the T1M Utility.

4. Reinstall the two Phillips head screws (do not over tighten).
5. Power on the device and confirm the module works properly.
6. Navigate to the main menu to perform blade setup and recalibrate the T1M.
