Tape Measure Block Alignment Indicators

The alignment indicators on the Tape Measure Accuracy Block show how far off your tape reads compared to its actual measurement. The center line marked "0" indicates perfect accuracy. Lines marked with "+" values show the tape is reading long, and lines marked with "–" values show it is reading short.

Each marking represents a specific offset: ±1/32", ±1/64", and ±1/128", allowing you to quickly determine the accuracy of your tape measure.

Note: The Accuracy Block uses a vernier scale, meaning only one ½" increment on your tape measure (0.5", 1", 1.5", 2", 2.5", 3", or 3.5") will align with a marking at a time.

When reading results, use either the solid lines for Pull (outside) measurements or the dashed lines for Push (inside) measurements.
