If your T1M Utility shows a blank, malfunctioned, or distorted screen (such as garbled characters or an unresponsive display), this can typically be resolved with a quick reset.
Fixing Display Issues with a Software Reset
A software reset is the most effective way to resolve temporary display issues. It does not affect saved measurements or system settings.
- Press and hold the following three buttons at the same time: Menu + Up + Down
- Continue holding for approximately 10 seconds
- When you hear a beep, release all buttons—this confirms the reset
After the reset, the screen should refresh and display normally. If the issue continues, see below for additional behavior or support options.
Automatic Reset After Inactivity
- The T1M is designed to perform an automatic soft reset if left inactive for 3 hours after entering sleep mode
- This feature helps recover from display or performance issues caused by prolonged idle time
Still Seeing Display Issues?
- If the software reset does not resolve the issue, you may attempt a hardware reset (see: T1M Reset Guide)
