[T1M] Power and Sleep Modes

The T1M Utility is built to make the most of its 100+ hour battery life. Below is a quick overview of the different power modes and how they work.  Times may vary depending on conditions and usage.

Power On (actively using T1M)

• 100+ hours (Approximately, depending on use case and environment)
• When powered on, the T1M display will show either dashes or a measurement value, depending on whether the blade is retracted or extended. The display also indicates the battery level, Bluetooth connection status, and the unit of measurement currently in use

Sleep Mode (Screen Off)

• The T1M enters sleep mode automatically after 3 minutes of inactivity
• Wakes up after moving the tape blade or pressing any button on the T1M
• Draws close to no power, allowing the unit to remain ready for use without draining the battery
• The Display will show the total number of measurements captured all time when in sleep mode
• 

Off

• The battery can last several months even when powered off
• Automatically powers off after 3 hours of inactivity
• Turn on by pressing any button on the T1M
• When off, the screen will be completely blank
•
