[BOLDR] Measurements Overview

Measurements in BOLDR Pro are the core data points that capture dimensions, angles, and related details for your projects, stored as interactive tiles or list items that sync across all devices and views.

What Are Measurements?

Each measurement represents a single dimension like length, width, or angle, linked to a specific part within a Job, with optional notes, labels, photos, and status markers for complete tracking.

Measurements appear as visual tiles in Board View for quick scanning or spreadsheet rows in List View, always staying synchronized so edits in one place update everywhere instantly.

Example of a Measurement Tile in BOLDR Pro

A measurement tile typically contains the following information:

  • Tile ID (such as A2): Identifies the tile’s position in the grid and its group/column location.
  • Units: Shows the unit for this measurement (for example, in, mm, or deg for angles).
  • Measurement value: Displays the numeric dimension (including fractions) or angle in large text.
  • Label / Name: Optional text like “Side Piece” or “Measurement 9” that describes what the piece is.
  • Complete Measurement checkbox: Lets you select the tile to mark the measurement as complete, indicating that the cut or task for this piece is finished. When checked, the tile’s appearance updates to show its completed status, and this state is reflected in the job on desktop, mobile, and tablet.
  • End treatment tag (if applied): A banner or text (for example, Miter Left, Bevel, MOLD) that shows how the ends should be cut.

Adding Measurements Manually

You can add new measurements by hand on desktop or mobile when you are not capturing directly from a connected tool.

  1. Open your Job in BOLDR Pro on desktop, tablet, or mobile.
  2. Go to the Board view and navigate to the measurement group where you want to add a value.
  3. Tap or click the + tile inside that group to create a new measurement tile.
  4. When prompted, enter the measurement value (including any fractions) and confirm.
  5. Optionally, edit the label/name field to give the measurement a descriptive name.
  6. Repeat these steps for any additional pieces you want to enter manually.

Adding Measurements Automatically from T1 / T1M

When a T1 or T1M is connected, measurements can be sent directly from the tool into the active tile or next available slot in the group.

  1. Connect your T1 or T1M to BOLDR Pro from the Tools tab in the mobile app.
  2. Select the Job and measurement group you want to fill.
  3. Begin capturing measurements using your REEKON Device. Measurements will automatically populate onto the selected job
  4. Continue capturing to populate additional tiles without retyping dimensions.

Key Measurement Features

Group measurements into sections like “Baseboard” or “Studs” for organization, add angles or formulas per item, and track completion status with checkboxes that update team views in real time.

Access built-in analytics per group to see totals, averages, or counts, and export all measurements to CSV for external cut lists, reports, or integration with other software.
