Templates in BOLDR Pro standardize how you capture measurements using reusable fill-in-the-blank forms that match your workflows. They are powerful tools that can be customized with inputs, formulas, images/PDFs to use as diagrams, and more.
While they appear differently, templates can be used in both Measurement List jobs (where they appear as a single entity and Purple) as well as Template jobs (where they are indivudally addressable in most views and can be modified on the fly).
How Templates Work
Templates turn repetitive measurement tasks into structured forms for windows, doors, layouts, and other assemblies, so every field entry is clearly labeled.
Each template defines input fields, units, and optional rules or tolerances so every team member captures the same information in a consistent way and can be imported in any job.
Key Benefits
Standardized templates reduce transcription errors and repeat visits by clearly indicating which dimensions need to be captured and how they will be used.
Completed templates can be exported as CSV or Excel files so you can hand off structured data to ordering, fabrication, or external design and estimating tools.
