[BOLDR] Importing Template or Utility into Measurement List Job

In BOLDR Pro, you can import an existing Template or Utility into a Measurement List Job so you can reuse standardized layouts, groups, and calculators.  Imported Templates appear as purple tiles in an imported job.

What Happens When You Import a Template

When you import a Template or Utility into a Measurement List Job, BOLDR Pro copies the template’s groups, labels, and measurement structure into the Job.

The imported content appears as additional groups and tiles in the Measurement List Job, ready for you to start capturing measurements without rebuilding the layout from scratch.

Importing a Template into a Measurement List Job

Use the Job’s add controls to bring a template or utility into an existing cutlist Job.

  1. Open your Measurement List Job in BOLDR Pro.
  2. Tap the + button at the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select the Template or Utility you want to import from the list (for example, a room layout or materials calculator).
  4. Confirm the import when prompted.

The imported elements follow the same structure as they do in the original Template, including group names and any preconfigured labels or descriptions.

How Imported Templates Look in a Job

Inside a Measurement List Job, imported Templates appear alongside your existing groups in Board or List View and appear purple.  Measurements can only be accessed as a group within the template/

Each imported group behaves like any other group for capturing measurements, but its overall layout and structure are managed by the Template it came from.

Editing Imported Templates vs Template Jobs

Imported Template content inside a Measurement List Job is intended for entering measurements, not for editing the original Template layout.

You cannot edit Template-based measurements directly from the Job’s Board view; these tiles display values that come from the Template.

To change the preset values or structure from a Template, click the template header in your Job to enter it. There, you can edit the values that make up the template
