In BOLDR Pro, you can import existing Templates into your active job so you can reuse standardized layouts, groups, and calculators when building new measurement workflows. This prevents you from having to rebuild complex structures from scratch.
What Happens When You Import a Template
When you import a Template into a job, BOLDR Pro copies the template's groups, labels, and measurement structure into your current workspace.
The imported content appears as an additional section at the bottom of the job, ready to be configured or reused without rebuilding the layout from scratch.
Importing Templates on Desktop
- Open your job in BOLDR Pro on a desktop browser.
- Click the + Add button in the top-right corner of the job.
- Select Template from the dropdown menu to open the Template Gallery.
- Browse the available categories (such as Public Templates or Folders) to find the item you want to import.
- Click the + icon on a template to select it. You can click multiple times if you need to import multiple copies.
- Click Use Templates at the bottom of the window to confirm your selection.
Your template will process and be added to the bottom of the current job.
Importing Templates on Mobile
- Open your job in the Workspaces tab on your mobile device.
- Select Template to open the Template Library.
- Browse the available templates, then tap the template you want to add and select how many copies you would like to import.
- Once you have selected your desired template, you can immediately save it to your job, or enter the inputs you want added to the template first, then save.
- Tap Save All in the top-right corner to import the template into the job.
The imported template appears as a new section at the bottom of the job. It may take a few seconds to process fully.
How Imported Templates Look in a Job
Inside a job, an imported template appears as a new dedicated section, often structured as a table. Each imported section behaves dynamically, allowing you to adjust fields directly from the main job view.
You can interact with dropdown menus, checkboxes, and input fields such as material types, dimensions, or custom labels directly within the template's table rows to quickly capture project specifications.
