[T1R] Configuration Options

The CONFIG menu holds the T1R's device-level settings. Reach it by pressing Menu from the Home Screen, highlighting CONFIG, and pressing the Menu button to confirm

Beeper and Vibration

Beeper controls audible feedback when buttons are pressed. With it on, the T1R emits a short tone to confirm each input. Turn it off for silent operation in noise-sensitive environments.

Vibration controls haptic feedback. With it on, the tool gives a short vibration to confirm inputs, which lets you work without looking at the screen.

Offsets and Offset Change

WARNING - these should only be adjusted by advanced users for specific use cases. 

Offsets gives you access to previously saved offsets. Applying a stored offset accounts for consistent spacing, material thickness, or a repeated setup adjustment without recalculating each time.

Offset Change adjusts the front or back offset by a specific amount. This lets you account for material thickness or setup differences without changing how you physically measure.

Calibrate Device

Starts the calibration process for the tape blade. The T1R guides you through the steps on screen to adjust the tool for accurate measurements. 

Bluetooth Settings

Bluetooth Status turns Bluetooth on or off, enabling or disabling wireless connection to other devices.

Bluetooth Mode determines how measurements are sent. Use App to connect to BOLDR Pro and supported apps, or Keyboard to send values directly into any text field on a paired device. The two are mutually exclusive.

Keyboard Settings

Keyboard Ending sets what the T1R sends after each measurement in Keyboard Mode. Options are Enter, Tab, Space, Comma, Semicolon, or None.

Keyboard Locale matches the tool's output to your device's keyboard layout. Options are US, US-comma, ES, ES-comma, FR, and DE.

Factory Reset

Restores the tool to its original settings. This clears saved data and resets all preferences to default, so export or transfer anything you need before running it.

Flip Screen

If you are left-handed or measuring in an awkward position, Flip Screen mode lets you rotate the display so measurements stay clear and easy to read from any angle.

Auto Orient 

Rotate display based on position of tool at given time
