Blade A and Blade B are two versions of our digital tape measure blade which is prompted for the user to enter during the Blade Setup Process. Blade A will have a "BLADE" printed in bold font whereas Blade B will have a "BLADE B" printed (with a box around the B).

I've tried that, and didn't work.
I did make that mistake at first but now it won’t do anything. It stays in the setup mode … and no matter what I do it won’t go past the first step. The step that states move blade out 10” then back slowly to 0.
I have reinstalled the update. Said it was successful. I have unplugged battery, restarted my phone etc….
It’s just stuck.
Any help would be great.
Hey Rose, please send a video of the process and where you are getting stuck to contact@reekon.tools and we would be happy to help get it figured out!
My side screen keeps flickering about every 30 seconds or so. Is this normal or a problem? I certainly would prefer it not do that. Just received the T1 yesterday.
Hey Nicholas, yes that is normal and how the e-paper technology fundamentally works - https://support.reekon.tools/hc/en-us/articles/21075469206036-Why-does-the-E-Paper-Screen-Flash-Invert-
I’ve suffered the same fate as Roseburillo- I switched from A to B as I was not sure which is the default highlight. First selected the default setting; device indicated an error regarding too wide a disparity during calibration. I then switched blade type to A (B?) and now it won’t do anything. It stays in the setup mode … and no matter what I do it won’t go past the first step. The step that states move blade out 10” then back slowly to 0.

Re-ran the initialization routine after forcing a device reboot. Completed the FW update and calibration, and all went smoothly. Looks to be very accurate with installed blade. I will update as I have some experience with the T1 and Rock app.
Thanks for a solidly built measure!
Regarding calibration: Which side of Blade B is the correct one? As the lines doesn't line up (1cm marking on lower scale is 0.90-0.95 on upper scale).
What is the reason behind this? The Screenshot on this page shows like I personally would expect a measuring tape. 1.0 is 1.0
Hey Daniel, please send us an email at contact@reekon.tools with a photo and we would be happy to take a look
