[T1R] Getting Started with BOLDR Pro App

Connecting your T1R to BOLDR Pro sends measurements straight from the tool into your jobs as you take them. No writing numbers down, no typing them in later, and every measurement arrives labeled, timestamped, and attributed to whoever captured it.

Before You Connect

Three things need to be true before the app will find your tool:

• Bluetooth permissions are enabled for BOLDR Pro on your mobile device.
• The T1R is powered on.
• The T1R's Bluetooth Mode is set to App, not Keyboard. The tool cannot connect to BOLDR Pro in Keyboard Mode.

To check the mode, press Menu, open Configuration, select Bluetooth Mode, and choose App. While you are there, confirm Bluetooth Status is on. See [T1R] Keyboard Mode if you use both.

Connecting Your T1R

1. Open the BOLDR Pro mobile app and tap the Tools icon in the top left of the screen
2. Tap Search for Tools to scan for nearby devices.
3. Wait for your T1R to appear under Discover nearby devices.
4. Tap the device card to connect it and add it to My Devices.
5. Confirm pairing if prompted

If your T1R does not appear, the usual causes are Keyboard Mode still being active, Bluetooth Status being off on the tool, or app permissions not being granted on your phone.

Capturing Measurements Into a Job

Once connected, press Capture on the T1R and the measurement transfers instantly into the active field in your job. The measurement also saves to the tool's own Saved Measurement List, so you have both copies.

Which field a measurement lands in depends on what is active in the app, so confirm you are in the right place before capturing a run of measurements.

What to Expect When Connected

• Bluetooth holds a connection between roughly 10 and 30 feet, depending on the environment.
• BOLDR Pro needs to be running in the background, though your phone does not need to be awake. This varies by phone, platform, and manufacturer.
• Measurements you saved on the T1R while disconnected will import once when you first connect. They will not import again to a different phone or account.
• Sharing is one way. Deleting a measurement in BOLDR Pro does not remove it from the T1R, and deleting it on the tool does not remove it from the app.

Forgetting Your T1R

1. In the Tools tab, find your T1R under My Devices.
2. Swipe left on the device card to reveal the Forget button.
3. Tap Forget.

You can reconnect at any time by powering the tool on, refreshing the device list, and tapping it again in the discovery section.
